I am going on a vacation to the South of Tenerife in July. I have booked an apartment in Golf Del Sur, and I am planning to have a night out in Los Cristianos which is a 30 minutes bus journey. There are quite a few mixed reviews about it. Basically… Yes stayed there the year before last. The apartments are a walk away from the beach on an incline. The apartments were clean. Two swimming pools find the one round the back of the apartments as the main pool gets rather busy. Lots of Places to eat. A cab ride away from Las Americas but a pleasant walk. Beach is lovely. Not sure what else you would like to know. I stayed ther with my husband and 22 year old son. The chinese above the supermarket all you can eat for 5 euro was very good. I did not like the touts but if you say NO they dont bother u? Hope this helps ask another question if I have not given you all the details you need.

Not been to Tenerife before so I’d like to hear from people who’ve actually stayed in these apartments so I can make my mind up. They are ‘Parque Santiago III Apartments’ & ‘Colon II Apartments’. I’m travelling with my kids aged 14 &18. Would love to hear other peoples experiences of the apartments & surrounding area. Thanks. Basically… Parque Santiago is right on the beach so a great location. Colon II is slightly more in town but still a good complex. Parque Santiago as others have mentioned is situated in a great area which has been built over the last five years or so. Don’t worry, there’s no building work going on now. A lot of designer shops and nice bars and restaurants. The complex itself is beside a small shopping mall. The shops aren’t great mind you, lots of Indian shops selling electrical items (cameras, video players, phones etc), a restaurant and supermarket and any perfume shops. Out of the two Parque Santiago would be the better option I think. It’s also not on the doorstep of Veronicas, it’s probably about a 15 minute walk to Veronicas. It’s also close to Los Cristianos, again about a 15 minute walk. The apartments themselves are nicely furnished with everything you’d need for a comfortable holiday. Plenty for the children to do at the nearby beaches and in the complex itself.
